We are beautiful not air brushed. We all deserve to spoil ourselves since we all work hard everyday. We are not trying to be something we are not but the journey is about finding that imperfection that makes us beautiful... And so became my idea for Jackson Sage. I once was an artist that studied beauty and post modernism-- what a contradiction. I now believe that art is that which grows not that which is deconstructed. Jackson Sage is a place for my love of beauty, art, and nature to combine and grow. I am an art teacher, student, artist, wife, dog handler, gardener, and I talk loud and fast. I am owned by a very large orange cat the size of a small dog named Pumpkin. He is the reminder that I am not in control of the world. My husband and I share our home with our animals and garden. We got married last year in Jackson Hole (see above picture). We had never been there. I can't spell. I like the color pink. And my favorite flower is the sunflower or the daisy... although I have the most amazing red roses in my garden that I planted this year and the first day they open up it smells wonderful. I don't want to be a rose person. We found an old rose root when we moved in last year. I planted it and has grown at least 10 feet tall... but only had one bloom at the first of Spring and then nothing... it just grows. My favorite book is the Little Prince.... although I really do love Jitterbug Perfume. "Grown-ups like numbers. When you tell them about a friend, they never ask: "What does his voice sound like?"
